From a simple idea to lasting community impact
Hands for You Foundation was founded in 2021 by a group of young Ugandans who believed everyday problems deserve practical, sustainable answers. What began with recycled-bottle kitchen gardens has grown into four connected programs reaching households, schools and youth across the country.
Our approach is deliberately simple: use what communities already have, keep it eco-friendly, and make sure every project saves money, improves health and protects the environment at the same time. We work hand-in-hand with local leaders, schools and partner organisations to make eco-friendly living a shared responsibility.
